4. A Concise History Of Motive Power Development On Sri Lankan Railways

The earliest locomotives on the Ceylon Railways had been the ML (Main Line) Class steam locomotives of 4-4-0 wheel arrangement with inside cylinders (Refer Fig: 1). Imported from numerous locomotive builders such as Robert Stephenson, Kitson, Beyer Peacock and Dubs in the UK over the years 1864 to 1895.

6. IESL Public Lecture on Robotics held on 11th July 2018 

The Australian population is estimated to reach 30 million by 2031 and 75% of this growth is expected to be associated with main cities. Although this provides unprecedented pressure on our existing infrastructure, it also extends a unique opportunity to improve, innovate and efficiently manage them through the use of high-end technology.
